Meet James fagan Your Guide on the Yoga Journey

I found yoga over ten years ago, in 2014, after reading a life-changing book called “Be Here Now” by Ram Dass. The book sparked a deep interest in yoga philosophy, Sanskrit, and Advaita Vedanta, which led me to explore the origins and depth of yoga beyond just the physical practice. For several years, I immersed myself in these teachings, learning how yoga can transform not only the body but the mind and spirit as well.

After deepening my studies, I felt called to take my asana practice to the next level, leading me to India. I completed my teacher training at the Sivananda Ashram in rural India, where I learned the traditional teachings of Hatha Yoga. I continued to return to India for pilgrimages, long meditations, and intense yoga training, spending months at a time immersing myself in the yogic lifestyle.

Now, with my knowledge and training, I express my love for the practice by teaching in studios and retreat venues across the UK. I focus on sharing the transformative power of asana, pranayama, and guided meditation, helping others connect more deeply with themselves through the ancient wisdom of hathā yoga.
